Learn
Balboa! To be a well-rounded and
versatile swing-era swing dancer,
you need to learn - and embrace - Balboa! Plus it's
really cool to dance effortlessly
to 200 bpm while other dancers just watch and wonder how you do that!!

DJ's from
the Hepcats play the best in big
band swing, jump blues, R & B, and early rock-n-roll for your dancing and
listening enjoyment. From slow, to medium, to faster tempos—for Lindy
Hop, Jitterbug and Balboa, there is something for
everyone.
This event has lots of energy in a friendly, social
atmosphere! Singles, couples,
all ages are welcome. |

What to wear?
It's "dressy" casual or business casual
for most people at these events, although some
people like to get a little more dressed up, and
that's fine! People also tend to get more dressed up for
our special events
with Live music, such as the Hepcats
Big Band Swing Dances.
However you
dress, keep comfort in mind, and note that swing dancing
keeps you movin'! Be sure to wear comfortable
shoes. (To protect
the dance floor,
no boots, "spiked" high heels or similar type shoes are allowed
on the dance
floor.) |
