Want to learn to
swing dance?
You're in luck! There is a free beginner swing dance
lesson (8:15-9 pm) before the event begins that will get you up on the dance floor! (Of course
if you want to learn more, check out the
Hepcats weekly classes!)

What to wear?
Dress for these events is casual, but nice (although we like to get dressed up for
special events!). Keep comfort in mind, and note that swing dancing
keeps you movin'! Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. To protect
the dance floor, no boots, high heels or similar type shoes are allowed on the dance
floor. |

this swing dance!
The Hepcats make the short road trip
to Richmond to bring some jump & jive to Madison County.
This is a very spacious dance studio with a great
dance floor!
Just like the swing dances in Lexington, the Hepcats
will be playing the best in big
band swing, jump blues, R & B, and early rock-n-roll for your dancing and
listening enjoyment. From slow, to medium, to faster tempos—for Lindy
Hop, Jitterbug and Balboa, there is something for
everyone.
This event offers lots of energy in
a friendly, social
atmosphere!
Singles, couples,
all ages are welcome!
Cost is $6 per person,
and includes complimentary refreshments! |
